Student Testimonials

"Attending Andy Taylor-Blenis’s dance classes for almost twenty years has given me a strong and flexible body that remains injury-free at age 63, a community of diverse and supportive dance friends, and a weekly gift of dance to creative choreography and always wonderful music. Andy’s warm-up and teaching of technique are based on her extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, which inform her focus on proper alignment and correct body mechanics. Her dance phrases are fun and just challenging enough to stretch brain and body. Her choreography reflects her unique style of modern jazz and her experience as a professional dancer. She is the most generous of teachers, excelling at individual and group correction. She can expertly teach a class of multi-level students. No matter how tired I feel after work on Wednesday nights, I always leave Andy’s two-hour dance class feeling energized, accomplished, and happy. I recommend Andy’s dance classes to anyone who loves to dance or who wants to try it out. Dancers of all ages and levels, especially first-time dancers and dancers returning after a hiatus, will love Andy’s classes. Treat yourself to dance -- a life-long gift-- with Andy Taylor-Blenis!"

~ Mary Carbonara, recreational dancer since 1966, student of Andy Taylor-Blenis since 1995
